Statewide Graduation
Guidelines
By registering and attending the IFHS graduation ceremony, you agree to the following guidelines for the event. Please take a moment to review these guidelines as you will be asked to agree to them in the registration process. These guidelines are put in place to ensure everyone has a wonderful time on their graduation day.
The IFHS Statewide Graduation will operate under the following guidelines:
Prior Registration is Required

Event Participation requires advanced registration and full payment at the time of registration.

Refund Policy for Statewide Graduation

There will be no refunds after the Graduation Event Registration has closed on Sunday, April 16, 2023, at midnight.

Graduation Dress Code

Event Dress Code: Business Casual. Please honor this milestone event for all graduates with respectable, appropriate attire.

Graduates are required to wear a cap and gown in a color of their choice and are welcome to personalize their gowns with stoles or cords, also in any color they wish. Personalizations that are tactfully aimed at academic or Christian themes are acceptable, but may not include vulgar images or gratuitous language both to be determined at the sole discretion of the IFHS Board.

Statewide Graduation is a Non-Partisan Event

All Graduates, parents, volunteers, and attendees should be aware the IFHS Graduation Event is nonpartisan from start to finish and shall not allow the interjection of any political or social agendas by way of verbal or nonverbal methods involving chanting, kneeling or other physical posturing, nor display of emblems or acronyms or statements visible on clothing, caps or shoes, as well as no banners, no signs or other methods or technologies used to communicate such messages, sentiments or ideas.

Individuals violating these guidelines shall be removed from the event at the sole discretion of individual IFHS Board members. Please respect the event for what it is, a ceremony to honor the graduates and their academic accomplishments of the Class of 2023.

Additional Reminders (Parking, number of guests, guest ages, etc.)

There are no restrictions on the number of family or guests attending per graduate.

Everyone is welcome, although we do ask if babies are struggling/crying please remove them from the ceremony immediately along with the nursing of infants.

Parking is free to all participants and attendees. The Graduation Event shall end by 4 pm and at the request of the venue the premises cleared by 4:30 pm. Everyone is welcome to gather, take pictures, and enjoy the venue lobby and sanctuary until 4:30 pm.
Photo and Video Release Statement

By purchasing a ticket to participate in Graduation and/or by attending the Graduation ceremony you consent to being photographed, filmed, and/or otherwise recorded by the Indiana Foundation For Home Schooling. You further consent to the organization’s use of your voice, name, and/or likeness, without compensation, in photos and videos for exploitation in any and all media and release IFHS Events, and its successors and assigns from any liability.
NOTE: All Graduation Event ticketed participants along with their family and guests attend with an
understanding of and agree to these Graduation Event Guidelines as so noted during the ticket purchase
process. We appreciate your attention to these guidelines which have been established to assure mutual
respect and shall be enforced as necessary.
